Justice Desk ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Medideals Resources, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Justice Desk mobile application ("App").

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and Bar Council registration details to verify your identity as a practicing advocate.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App — search queries, features accessed, and session duration — to improve the service.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for technical support and crash diagnostics.

Voice Input: When you use voice search, audio is processed in real time and converted to text. We do not store raw audio recordings.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Justice Desk service
• To verify your advocate credentials and manage your subscription
• To process search queries and deliver AI-powered legal research results
• To send service-related notifications (subscription renewal, new features)
• To improve accuracy of our AI model and judgment database
• To respond to support requests

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and database services
• Razorpay: Payment processing for subscriptions (we do not store card details)
• Google Gemini AI: Processing legal queries (queries are sent to Gemini API; no personally identifiable information is included in the query)

All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Search history is retained for up to 12 months to improve recommendations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Security Rules, and secure token-based authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Justice Desk is intended for use by practicing advocates and legal professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18 years of age.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent to data processing at any time

8. Cookies and Analytics

The App does not use browser cookies. We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised usage statistics. You can opt out of analytics via your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
